Snack Healthy With Newman’s Own Organics

I have to admit it, although I’ve seen Newman’s Own Organic products at the grocery store, I’ve never tried them. My family isn’t your typical organic consuming kind of family.

So when I received samples of Newman’s Own Organic snacks to try out, I was a bit skeptical. After all, wouldn’t organic products taste different?

 

We put them to the test with my pickiest eater of all, my 22 year old son. His favorite cookies are chocolate chip, so I figured we’d let him try out the chocolate chip Newman’s Own Family Recipe Cookies, really not expecting a very good reaction from him.

His initial remark was, “Wow, I’m surprised…these are really good!”

While my son devoured the package of chocolate chip cookies (okay, we did make him share a few), the rest of the family munched on Newman’s Own Chocolate Alphabet Cookies, Organic Hermits, and Crème Filled Ginger Cookies. They were all a hit! Oh and I can’t forget the Organic Peanut Butter and Peppermint Cups, the kids loved them! (And I loved the bite I managed to get before they devoured the pack!)

We were also lucky enough to try out Newman’s Own Licorice Twists and Sour Licorice Twists. These are made with organic sugar and are low fat, with no artificial flavors or colors. And, you guessed it, the kids loved them.
