Not too long ago we had a chance to test out two Rockabye Rockers with Jaden. The moment we opened one of the boxes, you could hear one playing a cute lullaby musical tune.
As parents, we all know rocking horses are generally one of those childhood toys that have made children smile for years! They basically become the heirloom toy that is sometimes passed down from generation to generation. I remember my oldest son having a cute rocking horse that my mom gave to him, we later passed it down to both my daughters. They played with that rocking horse for hours and many years!
Well, now your children can enjoy playing with one of the coolest rocking horse I’ve ever seen created by the company: Rockabye. Rockabye has a collection of beautiful plush styled rocking horses for your baby and toddler. Their wonderful collection consists of fire trucks, unicorns, ladybugs, birds, beavers, peacocks, sheep, boats, motorcycles and many others.
As we browsed their site it really was hard to select the two we selected, because each one I saw made me want them all they were just so adorable! I mean from the design, right down to the colors, they look so cuddly and fun! My first one I selected for Jada was the LULU Ladybug, I selected the ladybug because that is Jada’s nickname and I felt this rocker suited her to the tee!
Lulu, ROCKABYE lovable ladybug, makes a fun, colorful addition to a child’s nursery. Press the buttons on the back of her head and watch baby giggle as she rocks to original songs that teach. There are 4 shaped buttons that activate original songs that teach ABC’s, 1-10, colors, shapes and more. Complete with a soft and cushioned seat, natural wooden base, and easy grip wooden handles your baby/toddler can rock with ease. LULU also has hidden rattles and crinkle throughout to surprise the little rider. The moment Jada sat on LULU she begin looking around and once she was positioned correctly, she finally decided to rock on it. Below you can see her smiling and trying to push the buttons to start the music!
As you can see the Rockabye rocker is very detailed and so colorful, more importantly they are so easy to lift and maneuver. I love how strong the hardwood board built into the back of her seat and secured to the rocker base, this definitely offers an added support for her and your little riders back!
Jada rocked her ladybug throughout the house while allowing it to play a musical tune or two. I love how soft the plush material feels, and I like how it provides her comfort while she rocks.
Next we have the Princess’ Pony Rocker, which is another adorable plush rocker! Once again, Rockabye has another uniquely designed western style horse , which is perfect for your little Princess to ride.
Nia, had such a good time rocking her Princess’ Pony Rocker, at one point she cried when I had to make her get off so she good eat dinner. Her and Jada went from one room to the another, for a minute they had the rocker right in front of the TV rocking away watching Dora The Explorer!
The Princess’ Pony Rocker has a cute bandanna, a soft saddle, fun squeakers in her ears and the softest fabrics. Press the buttons on the back of her head to activate original songs that teach ABC, 1-10, colors, shapes and more.
The first thing I noticed about these plush rockers was the style, the cuteness, the colors and how cuddly they are, your child can’t help but fall in love.
One thing for sure, your kids can rock all day long while mom finish her chores, because these rockers really do keep them occupied. I’m happy that Jada enjoys the songs, but it can drive you nuts…lol! But don’t fear there is a way to turn off the music. There is a Velcro opening that holds the battery, you can access the battery pack and disable sound anytime!
There’s only one thing I found to be a problem for me, you can’t wash the plush fabric, I wish there was a way they would have made the covers of each designed Rockabye to be machine washable, other than that they’re GREAT!
Overall, I really like the Rockabye rockers and I think these rockers are a nice investment for parents or grandparents. I do believe they would make a great addition to any kids nursery and they would also be great to pass down to another generation. They all accommodate up to 80 pounds, so as long as your child stays within that weight they can ride for a while, and are recommended for ages 9months to 3years old! I will go on record to say Rockabye rocker did an Awesome job creating an innovative rocker that will become the next generation rocker heirloom!
