Hot Fun In The Summer Time With Michigan’s Adventure! #ad #MA100REASONS #michigansadventure

This pass weekend was Father’s Day and my family and I celebrated that day a little different then usual. We had an opportunity to visit Michigan’s Adventure and WOW, was it FUN!

Now, to be honest, I really don’t know where to begin form the moment we stepped foot into the park the kids and my adrenalin were at an all time high, let’s say we were like little bitty children…lol!

When we first walked in the gates we were greeted by Charlie Brown and Lucy from the Peanut Gallery, the next thing I saw was everyone running over to them especially the adults to take pictures with these two legends.

I couldn’t help but laugh at my husband and son in-law….it was so cute seeing how they were the first to take a picture. As we finished with the pictures, we all stepped back and took in the awesome view of the park, trying to decide where to go next. It was just so much to see and do at Michigan’s Adventure!

I mean really, with Michigan’s Adventure being the largest amusement and water park in Michigan that offers over 60 rides and attractions for thrill seekers of all ages. You really don’t know where to begin…lol!

They have Roller Coasters like Thunderhawk and Shivering Timbers, or Thrill Rides like Grand Rapids or HydroBlaster, and even a Ferris wheel

It’s the perfect park for those thrill riders like my kids, no matter if you enjoy those fast or slow rides, Michigan’s Adventure has you and your family covered! You have the Family Rides like the Grand Carousel or Timbertown Railway and please don’t forget to stop by Funland Farm!

Let me tell you the Funland Farm was Awesome, in the words of “Peter Griffin” from Family Guy!!!! We saw so many animals, like llamas, alpacas, a mini horse and a miniature donkey and much more! One of the llamas had his eye on my daughter the whole time she was by the fence, we couldn’t but help but LOL!

We had a chance to feed them all and interact with them. The Funland Farm is included with park admission, Funland Farm (open 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily)

When I tell you there was so much to see at Michigan’s Adventure, there is! The kids rode just about everything, but the most fun I think they had was at the Beach Party and Half Pint Paradise areas, it was so hot that day that I decided to rest in one of their private cabanas  while the kids played I the water. They had a beautiful, spacious, area of the pool, a huge Funnel Of Fear where everyone could plunge down into the water, of course the Lazy River and much more! WildWater Adventure, had it all for the entire family to have a splash-tastic time!

I so enjoyed playing the water gun game, I told the nice young lady I was going to win and beat them all, well I did. Check me out here:

Well, as you see we had a BLAST and even though we wish we could have stayed longer it was time for me to sing the Carol Burnette song, “I’m So Glad We Had This Time Together, Just to ride a few rides and swim along too, seems we just got started and before you know ittttttttt…comes a time we have to say “SO LONG!!!!!!! GOODBYE”!

Now, keep in mind that Michigan’s Adventure provides fun all season long; check out a full list of upcoming events covering everything from a tribute to Armed Forces to Scout Days and American Heroes Week at

It brought back memories of my family’s many visits to Coney Island (in NY) where I always headed over to the water gun games. Maybe one day our family can visit Michigan.

  • I’ve only been to Michigan once. Sister lived in Sterling Heights at the time. I visited Royal Oaks, Detroit, Grosse Point and a lot of other areas that I don’t recall the names. I wasn’t there for fun though. She & the bro in law needed me to watch the kids while they were flying to different hospital to learn about which treatment was best for prostate cancer. Happy to say that was NINE years ago and he has BEATEN IT! Cancer free since treatments.

  • How cool is Michigan’s Adventure?! When my kids were younger, amusement parks were one of our favorite places to go. While I’m a nervous Nellie on rides, I made it through most of the rides. (with the exception of anything that spun me around) Your family looks like they had such a great time .. everything from hanging out with Lucy and Linus .. to fun carnival games. Thanks for bringing us along! x

I’m visiting the States in September for the first time in six years and my sister has promised me an amusement park and all the Taco Bell I can eat… I can’t wait!
