Look what came in the mail yesterday. That's right the Stainless King Thermos 'travel mug'. I was so delighted to see it because my husband travels a lot on the road so I figured this 'travel mug' would be just right for him.

I'm glad to see that this Thermos tumbler is 100% leak-proof with a Drinklock to it. I hate getting in my husband work truck and seeing the spills from his coffee. He cleans his truck almost everyday just from spills.

The Thermos travel mug also keeps your liquids cool for 9hrs and hot for 5hrs. Now that's a 'travel mug'. Stainless steel, leak proof, unbreakable, 16 ounces and keeps you liquids hot and cold. Woohoo everything you need is right there for your travel needs.

Well I'm off to fix some homemade soup and fill my husband Thermos so he can hit the road. He's off on a long journey and when he makes it to his first rest stop his soup will be hot and ready.

Welcome to "DRY BABE" , the ultimate sleepwear for women who suffers from night sweats. If your not at that age where night sweats have effected you then you're one of the lucky ones. Night sweats comes from changes in women bodies like hormone imbalance and with aging. Night sweats can also be contributed to many illnesses such as diabetes, obesity and cancer plus prescription medications can contribute too.

So "DRY BABY"came up with a great sleepwear that will help you get a good night sleep without the feeling of being wet and clammy. Their special absorbing/wicker material redirects moisture away from your skin.

Here is what I chose from DRY BABE. I must say I didn't wake up sweating at all with this beautiful night gown. Not only did I wake up dry I also had a good night sleep. YAY!!

Now I only wore it one night so I have to try it again tonight to see if the results are the same. I guess It maybe official... I'm a DRY BABE "Hot Mama" now!

Keep in mind that what may work for me may not work for all women who may use the DRY BABE night gown. So the best thing to do is purchase your own night gown and see if it helps to reduce your night sweets.

Comfort your baby with Comfort for Baby Products!

We received our Comforts for Baby product right on time. A Comforts diaper bag, spill proof cups, wipes, cotton-swabs, baby powder, baby oil and coupons.

With little ones around it seems we are always running out of baby wipes, diapers and baby powder etc.

Let's not forget the Sippy Cups my kids loses. It so hard to find those right products that really stands up to their name. We used the wipes this weekend and they were great for my kids bottoms. Comforts for Baby Wipes have VitaminE & Aloe in them which is very good for children with eczema plus they are Hypoallergenic. I can't wait to Brag to all my mommy friends about how great Comforts For Baby products are. I went shopping this weekend at Krogers and was so excited to see "Comforts for Baby". Their prices are so reasonable especially for a family on a budget. That's important to me because the economy has really effected everyone. So good to see a large company like Krogers teaming up to bring us parents a brand like Comforts for Baby with the perfect price. I love how their Diapers keeps your little one pretty dry . The spill proof cups are so durable making it very hard for the kids to break them and yes, the spill proof tops is Awesome. Let's just say here in my home we love Comforts for Baby products. I logged onto http://www.ShopElectricityRatesTEXAS.com to find the best energy provider for our new home. We are moving next week and are doing the final touches to the house so that it is ready for us to move in. One thing that I have really been focusing on is getting the landscaping ready. I have always loved flowers since I was a young child. My grandmother had plenty of them in her yard. She grew everything from jade trees to begonias. One flower that I am particularly fond of is petunias. I love the way they smell. I also think that they look really nice when bunched together. My grandmother always grew lots of them. My husband on the other hand, doesn’t like petunias. He says that they are a “country” flower. I don’t know why he insists on having such sophisticated tastes with the flower beds, especially because he is never doing any of the work in them! He definitely does not have a green thumb. Last summer I left for a week and he forgot to water the flowers! We are getting a sprinkler system in the new house for sure.

Safety is an important part of life and should be a topic of discussion with your children and others close to you. I have conversations with my children and grand kids all of the time to let them know how important it is to be safe. There are thousands of safety signs, traffic signs, danger signs, warning signs, and even more.

Sometimes when me and the kids are walking we take the time to point out the different Street Signs.
This helps to give the children a sense of direction to and from their home. Some street signs will also have numbers listed on them. Those numbers are also good for Delivery Drivers they help them find what number block they are in.

No Trespassing Signs is entering an area without permission and children should know where and where not to go. The "NO TRESPASSING" sign is a helpful sign that could keep you out of danger.Children should know that it is possible for them to get into serious trouble with the police if they are trespassing. That's another important sign to pay attention to.

The kids wanted to know how important Road Signs are. I explain that road signs are extremely important. Signs tell the drivers whats coming ahead. They help alert the drivers if there is a large activity of animals in that area. You always want to make sure you pay attention to roadside signs we don't want to hurt any people or animals. Many roadsigns can also tell you when traffic is heavy. So while you're out enjoying your walk with the kids express to them how road signs, street signs and many other signs are important to our everyday life.

Mom Does Reviews wonderful friend and mentor Barbara Bockman creative author, has graciously allowed her to review and giveaway a signed copy of her new picture book Fantastic Flight is just that, a fantastically, fun adventure with a homesick Jessica and her Grandpa. Jessica is visiting her grandparent's beach house, but is really ready to go home. Grandpa takes her on an outing she will never forget. Their magical journey takes them to Cloud 9, to a helpful pelican, a butterfly in need of directions and to the unfriendly birds who pops their balloon. Fantastic Flight is action packed; you never want to stop turning the colorful pages! It was so much fun, my 9 year old son loved reading it to me! His only question was when does Jessica come back for another fantastic flight with Grandma this time.

My son and I have read it at least three times. We are still trying to figure out which part is our favorite, since we loved the whole thing! Justin decided he loved the part where the unfriendly birds pop their balloon. Of course, boys like those parts. My favorite part is where Jessica helps the butterfly find her way to Mexico and get her tiny suitcase and map back after a crash with the Pelican's banner.

Mom Does Reviews recommends this book for children ages 4 to 8.

The artwork is fantastic, just like the flight! Jack Foster is very talented. I think he captured Barbara's story just perfectly. I love the characters' facial expressions, the action effects and the little details like the water squishing out of their shoes.

Mom Does Reviews gives Fantastic Flight 5 out of 5 Fantastic Stars! Don't miss this one. Great picture book for your little one, loved one or grandchildren.

Tide and She Speaks has teamed up to bring you the new Tide Coldwater liquid detergent, which is specially formulated to help get clothes clean when they are washed in cold water. Now I didn't believe it because all my life I have use hot water to clean my clothing unless it was my favorite delicate clothing.

When you have kids you experience doing laundry way more then you ever could imagine. Sometimes my daughter comes home with many spots on her blouses that even certain detergents can't remove. Just this past Friday she came home with Chocolate milk stains on her brand new shirt and boy was I bummed to see that.Chocolate is one of those ingredients that's very hard to get out.

So I told my husband let's take the Tide/SheSpeaks Tide Coldwater challenge to see if this liquid detergent really works in cold water.Well, all I can say is if you haven't tried it. Go out and get it as soon as you can.

It really works! We set the washer to the cold water cycle and added the Tide Coldwater detergent and *Wa-la*. Here is my daughter's shirt all clean and yes, free from that nasty chocolate stain. Not only did it clean the stains in her blouse a few other items came out clean and fresh also. I guess we learn something new everyday. I never ever would have thought about washing my clothes in cold water.Will I buy Tide Coldwater again, YES I Would!

Do you know washing your clothing in cold water can also help conserve energy and save money on your utility bill. Now that's good to know, saving on anything now and days is a plus. I guess I'll go and wash a few more loads of clothes this Tide coldwater detergent has me ready to catch up on my washing. LOL

Everyday I hear many moms say their children are always angry and everyday day I ask them do they know why. Every child is different and reacts to every situation differently. The first thing we as parents need to do is find the root of the anger. Yes, there's a root to everything. Children are not born angry when they come into this world.You see them smile, laugh , cry and express their emotions.

If you are a parent who is struggling with an angry child. Don't worry there are ways to help calm your children's anger and hopefully help him/ her out grow it completely. As parents we can't become frustrated or angry for it's not a good example to set nor a good tone for the children. If our children see the frustration and anger that we share, it opens the door for the child to become more angry and now becoming destructive leading sometimes in to their adulthood.We now have a serious concern!

Here are a few tips to assist your children with anger:

1) Make sure you as the parent is setting a good and healthy anger environment, no explosions, no yelling.

2) Walk away from the child when you see the anger and negativity come out. It's much better to walk away then to waste energy to their angery behavior.

3) If child become more violent as he/ she grows older, then you know it's time to really seek professional anger reduction programs!

When your children are constantly angry, this unhealthy anger can and will steal your child's happiness.

Take control today to embrace your child's anger and help them become the child you wish to see succeed!

Purex Ultra Packs review!

Purex, you always makes us consumers *smile*! As a Purex insider I get the opportunity to try out different products before the consumers do. Purex Ultra Packs came to me sometime last week and I really wanted to try them out. This time I did something different, I gave the product to a friend and asked her to use the Purex Ultra Pack and give me her opinion. It's always good to see what others have to say as well.

First let me tell you a little about Purex Ultra Packs. They are truly convenient pre-dosed liquid detergent packs that makes laundry easier. No mess, no spills, 2x concentrated, they dissolve quickly and are safe for all machines.

Now this is what my neighbor said.

Question one: What did you like the most: Alissa say's: she like the fact she didn't have to lug a big jug of detergent.

Question two: Did the pouch dissolve fast enough for you: Alissa say's: she was shocked to how fast it dissolved and how there was no residue from the pouch left.

Question three: Did you find the Purex Ultra pouch less effective: Alissa said: No , as a matter of fact, my machine had great suds from the pouch and cleaned my clothes.

What about the freshness or smell from the Sample pack Mountain Breeze: Alissa states: My clothing had some smell to it but not as much. I think it was because I had to many clothes in washer. lol

Last Question: Would you recommend/use Purex Ultra Packs again: Alissa say's: Most definitely.

Well there you have it. Looks like Alissa is a happy consumer and I know as for me, I love Purex too!

WOW, can you believe we are getting ready for 2012. So much has happen in 2011 the lost of my mom just a few months ago. Jobs, housing and health changing for some of us. Kids growing and becoming adults. It's really hard to believe how fast life can change.

Each year is different, never knowing what it might be but one things for sure something different happens, that's for sure!

I look back thinking how hard some day's were for me and how great the other days were. I guess for me, life is changing everyday and if it stood still I think I would really worry. I'm Thankful for every change in my life rather I liked it or not...because this here world is not mine....it belongs to God, and what God has for me is for me and what he has for you is for you. I have learn to accept what God has for me and my family for I know he knows far more then me. *smiling* I really don't know what God has for me and my family in 2012 but I do know this......whatever it is, I'll be ready for it. I can also say I'm not where I want to be but sure glad I'm not where I use to be!

I welcome 2012 with open arms, many prayers and thanks to God for all he has done and what he's getting ready to do. I don't want to be a *Superstar* or *Walk in anyone else shoes* I just want to be me and give the Best of me to my family and friends. I won't look back to 2011 to much longer for 2012 is waiting for *Me*!

I have a new journey in 2012, working on improving my blog, getting my invention ready and out to all the kids and most of all...always giving God the praise and glory that he so deserves.

I found a great Halloween Costume already! Hoorah!!

YES, I found it! Every year during Halloween I have to search around trying to find that Halloween Costume that fits just right for my grand-kids. They really love all the Superhero Costumes. It's so funny to hear them talk about *Batman,* Robin,* and * Iron Man* considering how far back these Superhero's go. Keep in mind that they are only 2/5 years of ages and can tell you everything about what they do and who they are... (Superhero's) that is!

Each year they come out with new hero's like *Green Lantern* and many others. You better believe they are on top of all the latest Superhero Costumes. Last year they both wanted to have the Spiderman Costume which we found but had a very hard time getting them both the same costume either they had one size for the little one or one size for the older one, never both sizes in the same store. A lot of running around was happening. Then we lucked up and found them both at one store, whew... boy was I glad!

I will be ready this year because I already know they both want to be *Batman*. I can get a jump start on purchasing two costumes for them both within the next few months. Ummm, I wonder if I brought one of the grand-kids *Batman* and the other *Ironman*......nope, I think they would probably cry. They love dressing alike for Halloween!

It's going to be easy this year since they both want the same costume. I can see them both now dressed up in their Batman Costume ready to have some Halloween fun. Now don't you worry there's still a lots of time to get that special costume for the kids but as for me.....I'm ordering soon. No More Running Around For Me !!! LOL

We have had the craziest weather lately. One week it will be hot where you can go around in short sleeves, and then the next week, you are pulling out all your winter clothes and coats. It is no wonder that at this time of year people start getting colds and staying sick. You go from one extreme to the other and never know what to expect. I will hear a weather report on television and cannot believe that it is going to the extreme they are talking about. Since we got clear and tv packaged service I can go on the internet and check out the weather report that I think I just heard on the television. Most of the time, I go online to the weather website. It shows me the current weather and what to expect throughout the day. It can show me the weekend forecast. Then to go even further out, it can show me what to expect for the next ten days. I don’t know how they can figure out weather that far in advance, but I am glad that they can. It gives me time to plan for the future.

Whew......the Christmas Tree is UP!!

Wow, this was such a long weekend to me! Me and the kids got together to put up the Christmas and it seem like it took us forever. I guess it was because I have been so sick over the last few days. This cold has taken a toll on me and my body.

We got together and pulled everything out of the storage closet and lord and be hold it look like the box had grown over a year. It was so much to pull out that we had to call my husband to assist us.

While we begin putting everything out my husband played Christms music and baked , yes baked us some cookies. Now how cool is that! LOL

We finally finished everything that night and WOW...... it was sooo pretty and vibrate. The Mantel was done with all the kids stockings and the tree was trimmed and bright. This is the most wonderful time of the year for me and my family. This year it will be a little different being that we just lost my MOM! :0( I'm sure she will be looking down at us with all the rest of my family who have gone on to Glory, smiling and watching over us.

Remember, whatever you do this Christmas please make sure you take a moment to tell your love ones how much you *Love Them* for life chances so fast.

Books, Books, and more Books!

Book, Book, and more Books! My daughter is a avid reader she really loves to read. This week in her school there is a Book Fair going on until sometime next week. I never seen a child who loves to read like her. The books are piling up really piling up. It's like everywhere we go, library, shopping, grandma's house she has to have a book not just one book but at least four to five. Believe me when I say.....she reads them all. Just last week I took her to the "book store" so she could buy some mystery books. She love mystery books, horror books , science books and much more.

While we were there I couldn't help but purchase me some Comic Books, yes that's right...I'm a Comic Book lover. I have a collection of Comic Books that date back to the early 60's. Like Batman, Green Hornet, Captain America, The Hulk and so on. I may have a large collection of Horror and Comic Books but my brother really has me beat.

His collection of Comic books are worth...let's just say A LOT! I guess she has it honest when it comes to reading most if not all my family loves to read. This Holiday Season don't forget to add a few books to your child's Christmas List! Now I'm off to redo her book shelves and make room for the new books that she will be purchasing this week and next week from school.

Parents, have you done this?

Looking at this photo above made me think and ask many moms....have you done this? So many children everyday wet there beds as a matter of fact there are over 13 million children who suffer from incontinence. So many moms are dealing with this and really haven't found the right solution to helping their children. Do you find it much easier to throw that towel over the peed -on sheets or do you wake up your child and clean the soiled linen and clothing.

I took a poll on Facebook and Twitter to see how many moms have done this and you'll be surprised to know that over half of the mom's I spoke with threw the towel over the peed-on sheets and allow their children to go back to bed!

Do you find this type of action 1) convenient
   2) lazy
                                               3) poor hygiene
                                               4) unsanitary

Well personally I find all the above to be correct in one form or another but you must also keep in mind that if a child is wetting constantly it's time to seek medical attention.This will help your child's physician rule out any medical problems! As a retired nurse and someone who has been studying incontinence in children for over 5 years. I know there are many solutions to help parents and their children. It is important to implement solutions that will help your child not hinder them. Now please understand I'm not bashing any mom for using this method for I'm a mom myself! I know things can get hectic for us all especially during the night with our children. I just know that we must learn to practice good sanitary methods that will keep our children free from germs and body rashes. We not only want our children to have a good night sleep, we also want them to have a dry night.

It's that time of the year.....Christmas Greeting Card Time!

It's the Holiday Season and I can't wait to decorate my home. Me and the kids look forward to adding that Holiday spirit to our home decor. One thing we do is display our mantel with all the old and new "Christmas Cards" . We even add lights around the mirror and mantel giving the cards that extra shine. Dad's Advice

Dad told me about a local internet provider in Ohio that could get me service out at my house which was unusual only because I live way out in the middle of nowhere. I really needed internet because driving the 40 miles into town every time I needed to order dog food for groceries was really becoming a hassle and it was eating up all my gas. The dogs need this special kind of food anyway that’s hard to find in stores so sometimes I would drive all the way into town only to see that they were out of the brand I needed! Having pets sure isn’t easy sometimes but I feel better about it now that I live out here on all this land. I know the dogs like having so much more room to roam and I feel like a better pet owner because they’re not cooped up inside the house all day long like they used to be.

Tough Move

As much fun as it is to be settled in my new apartment watching Monday Night Football on direct tv, getting here was no picnic. Last week I thought I was all ready to move. I had everything packed and ready to go. I had forwarded my mail and transferred all my utilities and was geared up to go. Then things started falling apart—first the moving company called to say they didn’t have a truck available even though I had scheduled them a month before. Then my parent who were going to help both got sick. Fortunately with some good friends, some good weather and a lot of luck I managed to turn things around. The night before my scheduled move I called all my friends with trucks and SUVs and offered them pizza and gas money to help me move. Several of them were available so that morning we started carrying boxes downstairs and stuffing them into all the nooks and crannies of their vehicles. I love this site, not only do they carry "children's clothes" they also carry a clothing line for women. I reached out to 3D Deco Light on twitter seeking to do a product review of their product. I received the product a few days ago and I have to admit...I'm very PLEASED!

A Canadian father Tom Wegrzyn invented this cool product. I love the box design, the great detailed information and pictures of how the product works
The 3D Light FX is their soccer ball deco light
produced with lead free materials, but also hold all safety and energy certifications and come with a full replacement warranty. It's a great product to add to your child' room decor and a great product for that little one who is afraid of the dark. It come in 3 colors and most of all there are NO CORDS...now that's a plus considering many reports of children strangling themselves almost everyday from dangling cords.
It runs off batteries and is very easy to install.You can also use the AC Adapter that is included if needed. I have to be honest! I have never ever seen anything like this before and once you get it hooked up and switched on...WOW, is what you will be saying!

Flu symptoms can be mild or severe — and if they’re mild it can become severe without much notice. Be aware of your body and monitor your body temperature. Flu symptoms can come on suddenly — be sure you know your treatment and prevention options so you can be prepare. It's best to say anytime your body doesn't feel right always check with your Doctor. You must remember that you don't need to experience all of these symptoms to have the flu.If you have one or two,it's recommended that you see your doctor.The flu usually spreads from person to person in respiratory droplets when people who are infected cough or sneeze. People occasionally may become infected by touching something with influenza virus on it and then touching their mouth, nose or eyes.

Healthy adults may be able to infect others 1 day before getting symptoms and up to 5days after getting sick. Therefore, it is possible to give someone the flu before you know you are sick as well as while you are sick.So while we go through this season of Flu strains it's best to make sure you WASH YOUR HANDS CONSTANTLY make sure to cover your mouth when coughing and please be considerate of others..some people have very low immune systems which allows them to catch the flu much easier then others.

Some symptoms to look out for:

Fever (usually high)
Headache
Muscle aches
Chills
Extreme tiredness
Dry cough

Groove Kid Nation Review!

Groove Kid Nation is an educational children's music label whose goal is to introduce toddlers to the sound of real musical instruments. I had a chance to play the CD this weekend for my little grand kids and man, if you could have seen them dance you would have laughed your heart away. What I found to be interesting is how they where trying to find out which instruments were being played. So we played a game call "name that instrument"!

The vocals of the "kids song's" are done by many vocalist. The creator Rodney Lee decide to create this CD to show the importance of music in early childhood development and to create music for age appropriate children like his son who is now 3 yrs old.
My grand kids enjoyed the CD even more when they heard the kid song "Funky Chicken"...they just laughed and laughed with great joy. We played that song over and over again. I sent the CD home with their parents so they could enjoy listening to "Funky Chicken" and the other songs. As a person who holds some background in music and vocal...I Think Mr. Lee did a Great Job in creating music that relates to the development of our children. I agree with Mr. Lee there is soooo much garbage in this world when it comes to music for our children. I'll take this CD over all the garbage and I'm sure many parents will too!

Renuzit New Fresh Accents review!

As a purex insider I get to try products out before they hit the market. Two Renuzit "fresheners" were delivered to my home in a cool holiday box. Before I could open up the box all the way the scent was coming threw.
I open the box and saw two pretty snow flake design holders and two wonderful scents, one called "Festive Snow" and the other "Winter Berry"! WOW!! I was so overwhelmed by the smell of the Festive Snow, I opened up that one first.

Once I opened it I slide the freshener inside the snow holder.I love adding these types of things to my home decor, not only is it cute... it smells Awesome!! I choose to add mine to my entertainment stand in the living room.It sits so nice and don't take up much space at all. The greatest thing I did with the scented freshener is I added some small back lights on the top of my entertainment stand giving a little glow to the snow flake design. Boy, it looks so pretty at night. Seeing the little glow as well as getting a good smell from the stand has brought a lot of attention to those who visit. Now everyone who visit's wants one...YAY!

The Winter Berry scent smells great also but I must confess, I really love the Festive Snow....something about that pine smell. It puts you right in the Holiday Spirit! I choose to add the Winter Berry to my bathroom which I thought was a good idea....I love when you come past my bathroom you can smell the scent strongly even when I lay down on my couch I can still smell it in my bedroom. Now that's some strong scent. LOL!!!

Well, the Holidays are approaching fast and I'm off to Target or Walgreen's to purchase some more scents so I'll be ready for the Holidays! I urge you to visit your retail stores and purchase a few for yourself....I guarantee your home will smell fabulous!!

Smiley Cookie are gourmet sugar cookies for your enjoyment. They arrived at our home in such a pretty package with lots of smiley faces on the box. They are baked in a nut-free facility and are freshly made. They also are hand-iced customize cookies.

When we opened our box we noticed they were Halloween cookies . A dozen of the "Jack O Lanterns" shaped sugar cookies with candy cone eyes and nose . They are so cute and the taste is Great! I shared them with the kids along with a tall glass of cold milk....mmmm,mmmm good!

itty bitty HeartBeats Review/ Giveaway!

I don't know if you've ever heard of "Sant'e Nuts" before, as for me! I have never heard of them until this week when they arrived at my door! When I received the package I was very impressed. Many say a package can say a lot about the product and Sant'e Nuts packaging says way more then you think! As I opened the package I noticed there were 4 bags of 5oz peanuts.

Heelys Labor Day/ Back To School Special Review!!

WOW, our Heelys are here! I'm so excited to say I was chosen to review a pair of heelys skate shoes for their " Back To School / Labor Day Special"!! Now even though I was excited I knew this was something I couldn't do with a chronic back injury. So I called on the pro....lol yes, the pro...my daughter! Now as we set down to view Heelys site we found sooo many Awesome shoe skates with many cute colors and designs for kids and adults. Hi everyone,

Last week I had a chance to review the new reusable BRYTON PICK dental floss pick. Not only did I try them but I also included my youngest daughter since she has braces. The BRYTON PICK comes with a slight bend shape and a light weight stainless steel edge. It's the new way to floss your teeth after dinner or snacking. They are what you can call a quick solution to flossing when you have no time or place to brush after a meal. It states that they reduces plague & bacteria build-up, prevents bad breath and also stimulates proper oral hygiene.

BRYTONPICKS are convenient and portable and reusable up to 30 days. Real thin and flexible too. It's a very stylish product with many cool colors. I just found it to feel a little weird to me, I was a little uncomfortable using this product because the silver flexible pick just didn't feel right with my teeth. Now I'm all for proper hygiene and I'm sure others may find this product to be very useful but for me....I think I'll pass!

Now when my daughter tried BRYTONPICK after she had eaten her meal she stated how she liked the product and how it did a great job in removing food from her teeth with her braces. I must say it's a convenient product which can be used on the go at anytime. A Mothers Love!!!!

I've been away for a while. Just a month ago I lost my mom and I've been feeling lost and really down. "A Mothers Love Is Special", the moment our moms give birth to us we form a bond that will forever hold us together. Moms are the glue that hold everything together when no one else can. They nourish us, protect us, teach us, laugh/cry with us and much more.

After my dad died many years ago, I felt the need to get closer to my mom even more.....you see I was always a daddy's girl. *Smiling* My mom and I could talk and laugh about anything. Her wisdom and guidance has helped me become the person I am today and now I have instilled that into my own children.

I do know that there are many medicines out there for many illnesses but there's nothing out there for a *Broken Heart*! I say to everyone.......cherish every moment you have with you Mom & Dad cause before you know it, life can change and soon you maybe without that special person.

I'm so happy to say me and my Mom had an Awesome relationship and not only did she have a great relationship with me , she had a great relationship with all of my siblings! Now she is in heaven with my dad and two sisters laughing and being the mom she was here on earth.(Stern)!

We are the lucky ones (children that is) to have parents that loved us unconditionally! Many of our parents have given their all to make sure we had what we needed to be who we are today in life. I know my parents did!!

God Bless you MOM & DAD, you did a remarkable job with all of us and we love and miss you dearly! One day we will meet again!!

Hear ye, hear ye, "The Little Sprout" has arrived !!

I just can't believe it..."The Little Sprout" has arrived!! Hear ye, hear ye world, the Little Sprout has come to bring much joy to every child who reads about him. My daughter and I were so excited to know that "The Little Sprout" had reached our home. The day it came my daughter was in school and I promised I wouldn't open the package until she got home. Well, when she came in she swung down her books and grabbed the package. I asked her, Lex, can we open it up now, she spoke very strongly stating to me Not Right Now Mom..I must do my homework first. OK! That evening went by and as she prepared for school that morning I was told that I would have to wait until she's ready. Darn it....I've been ready long before it arrived. LOL

Well, it happen "The Little Sprout package was open and ready for us to read. OMG, I said! The Muse has out done herself with this book. As Lex and I sat in my recliner we both where amazed at the outstanding illustrations and colors. We didn't start to read the book until we viewed all the AWESOME pages. As Lex eyes began to settle down...lol lol She begun to read the Little Sprout

“The Little Sprout" is the story of a little seed that wants to grow up to be a dove or a fish so he can do exciting things like fly or swim. It's so wonderful to read how he felt about his Mother once he saw her for the first time.You can tell from reading the book that the Little Sprout saw the beauty within his mom and wanted to be just like her .....a little seed that whats to grow up! I love how in the book it shared with children about what it takes for a seed to grow. Water, sunshine, dirt but most of all a mothers nurturing touch! I know for my daughter, she was truly fascinated and loved the fact of the "The Little Sprout growing up to be a Bean Sprout like his mom.

After reading the book, both Lex and I are ready for more! I hope the Muse knows she has opened up the minds of many children seeking to read more about "The Little Sprout" and his new jounery of growing up as a Bean Sprout!  It's a book that every household should have. A book that allows a child imagination to run freely with the love of a bean sprout. I must also say...he is the cutest little bean sprout I have ever seen, watch , you'll say the same thing once he enters into your home.

Once again, The Muse has truly outdone herself with this book, it was my pleasure to share this wonderful book with my daughter and i can't wait to share it with my grand kids when they come to visit. Ms. Muse is a one of a kind Women with many gifts, she's an Awesome Poet, Awesome Designer, Awesome story teller and most of all she has a Heart Of Gold !!

Small Surf Showstopper review!!!

I had the privilege to review the "Surf Showstopper" which is pictured in these photos. It's a convenient wrist bag for men or women. Inside is a large pouch that can hold an iPhone or mp3 player, while the zippered compartment can hold an credit card, or cash. There is also an outer zippered pocket for your keys or any other valuable that you need quick access to. I love that it's durable to sustain any season and that the material is water repellent.

The underside is constructed of a "toweling" material that absorbs perspiration while working out! I used it while I did my workout and I also had my daughter wear it too. She really found it to be useful with holding her phone and cash items. She wore it for five days straight while she worked out and to her classes.

The only thing I found that I disliked about the product was it needed to fit a little more secure....no matter how I tried to adjust it to fit tighter it still wasn't tight enough. Mind kept falling up and down my arm as I wore it...but overall I like the product! Valentine's Day is just around the corner.....

Yes sir, it's almost here again, "Valentine's Day"! I love celebrating "Valentine's Day" with my hubby and kids. It's such a special day but it's also a day you can let loose on some good old chocolate...lol lol We make sure that we always try and do something extra special for the girls and yes we even share Valentine's gifts with our oldest son....no one gets left out. *wink*

I love this time of year because each year my hubby out do himself with some pretty unique Valentine gifts for me. I love how he finds those special gifts that says "I Really Do Love You" Now and days it's so easy to find that prefect gift all you have to do is turn on your computer and order that special "Valentine'Day" gift.  I'm sure there are so many wonderful gifts and idea's to share with that special love one!

I think I have found that special Valentine's Day gift for the him  .   Something that will be simple but still great and just right for him! He's not that type of man that really celebrate Valentine's Day for himself....he always say it's for his special girls.

Well, I beg to differ...lol lol I think it's a "Holiday" that should be shared with your love ones know matter what gender they maybe. It's just another way to say "I LOVE YOU". Need A Good Nursing Uniform...look no more!

Wow, look at us now! Things have really changed since the 40's and 60's with our NursingUniforms.net/ . As a retired nurse one thing I looked forward to everyday was picking out my uniform for work. The good thing about working out in the field is that we were not required to wear corporate uniforms. The soft fabric of the material was always so comfortable and very easy to clean too.

Back in the day when I was going through "Nursing School" our Teacher would share movies in our class and most of them would have the Nurses wearing the old nursing uniforms & hats..... they reminded me of the Flying Nun Movie lol. They look very classy back then but I still wasn't excited about the style and look of them.lol

Now we have many new designs and many new names for our uniforms. We now call them "Nursing Scrubs" (nursinguniforms.net/Scrub-tops.html) the designs are "Awesome" and so appealing to the eye. I use to have mine handmade by a friend from the Hospital I worked for... she could make a set of scrubs and a nice matching jacket just for you and your style. You knew your scrubs & nursing uniforms were special . Like I stated they were made just for you!

I miss those days of working in the field but I'm glad to see many companies are offering more designs and styles for Nursing Uniforms and Scrubs! Take a look around NursingUniforms.net I'm sure you will find a Nursing Uniform that will interest you!

I must say: I tip my hat off to all medical personal......for each of us do our part in assisting those who are in need of medical attention!!!

Everyone Needs A Good Clock!

I'm a lover of clocks! In every area of my home you will find some type of wall clock. I have always been fascinated about how they work and how they are made. If you have a home without a  Wall-Clock.com then your home is missing something. I can't go pass my clocks without looking at the time, let alone the beauty of them all. Even in my daughters room you will find a lovely wall clock that makes so many different sounds at the strike of every hour!

WOW how time fly, do you remember the Large-Wall-Clocks.com  we use to have in the school classrooms. So funny to see them now in my daughters classes. You see as a kid, they use to be SOOO BIG looking and it seemed that time would never come for us to be dismissed to go home...LOL. I laugh at how my daughter says she watches the school clock to see when it strikes   12 o'clock...she says that's lunch time for her...lol lol Hey, a kids gotta eat too...lol lol

Just this Christmas my daughter brought me the most beautiful "Kitchen Clock"  I have ever seen. On the hour the clock picture would separate and play music. Oh my, I really love it. I sometimes just stand in the kitchen waiting for it to strike so I can see the picture separate and the cute jingle play. I told her when she moves I will make sure to buy her a pretty "Kitchen Wall Clock" I saw at 1001wallclocks.com  for her home too. WOW, I haven't seen a great product like this in a very long time...oops, let's say NEVER! All of my TVs, Computers, Phones and electronics period had every finger print or smudges that you could ever image on them. I then proceeded to clean my daughters glasses and her DSI..I would've had pictures but I broke my camera! :(    My daughter said her glasses are really clear, now I know she can see her homework.
