Oh My, my, my is all I can say about OOFOS!! I received my pair of OOFOS last week and I've been in heaven since. I have to give it to the makers of OOFOS, you really make me feel so young! I suffer from a chronic back injury that not only effects my back constantly but my feet too.

I have purchased so many shoes/sandals that claim to give you comfort but nothing like OOFOS. They give me great support in many pressure point areas of my feet. If you take a good look at them you'll notice that the shape is much different then normal crayons. The creative shape makes it easier for kids to hold and prevents them from rolling away. Ya!!! I get so tired of picking up crayons off the floor when they kids are coloring.

Beep! beep! Move over baby, here comes the new toy in town for my grand kids. It's the PlasmaCar!! I just finished assembling it on my deck. Once the grand kids get home from school it they can hop on and take a ride. The color is just right since it's for the boys. I'm sure they will be fighting to see who will ride it first so I already have a idea as to handling that. (Coin Toss) LOL!!

The PlasmaCar works best on a smooth surface. There is no pedals or electric gadgets to get you started just the handle to help you propel back and forward. It has pads on each side to indicate were the child's feet should go. It's very sturdy and can hold up to 200 pounds of weight and can reach a speed of 6mph. You can ride the plasmacar indoors but you won't get the same effect as outdoors. It's the smooth surface that helps the child to steer. This is one cool unique ride on toy that will bring a smile to any child's face.

The PlasmaCar comes in a variety of colors, yellow, blue,purple, pink and red. I'm sure when the sure when the grand kids pull it out to ride everyone from the neighborhood will come running....shoot you may see some parents come by too. *smiling*

10 Reasons Kids Suddenly Become Argumentative

The kids are playing quietly among themselves and suddenly a fight breaks out. Your child unexpectedly starts to argue about something he’s never complained about before. What’s going on? These sudden mood swings are common during childhood and are all a part of growing up, but they can really catch parents off guard. Because it’s so unexpected, it is very easy to react badly and only make matters worse. Before flying off the handle, try to figure out what’s going on. If your child picks a fight without warning, here are ten reasons kids may suddenly become argumentative.

Tired – The first thing that comes to mind is the child is tired. Everyone gets cranky when they’re tired and need to rest. A child that suddenly starts arguing for no reason probably just needs a nap.
Hungry – An empty tummy will also make kids short tempered. Children who are hungry are much less cooperative. A little snack or some comfort food may be all you need to get them calmed down.
Pent up energy – Kids who are confined for too long are going to have a lot of pent up energy. If they can’t get out and run around they’re going to lash out at you or each other. Stop the car and let them burn off their frustration.
Sick –Unexpected belligerence may be a symptom that the child is sick. Sometimes kids will become argumentative because they’re not feeling well and don’t realize it. Instead of a scolding, perhaps he needs a temperature check.
Worried – Kids may pick a fight to cover up something they’re worried about. If you’re having an irrational argument with your child, maybe there’s something else going on. A little gentle probing may reveal what’s really bothering her.
Scared – Another hidden reason kids can suddenly become argumentative is because they’re scared. Your son might want to act tough and pick a fight instead of letting anyone know he’s afraid of something.
Stalling – Sudden belligerence can also just be a stalling tactic. Instead of just doing what they are told, kids will start an argument merely to put off the inevitable. Don’t fall for it and put your foot down or this could become a real problem.
Bored – Sometimes kids will pick a fight with each other or their parents just because they’re bored. There’s nothing like stirring up an argument for a little misguided entertainment.
Fed up – Even the most mild-mannered kids will reach their limit at some point. Maybe your child has been upset about something for a long time and is finally just fed up. This can cause him to lash out unexpectedly for no apparent reason.
Hormones – When kids reach puberty the hormone changes can cause all kinds of unexpected behavior. This might be more prevalent in girls, but hormones can affect boys as well. A sudden fight can be because of their current stage of development.

When a child lashes out unexpectedly, it’s very easy to overreact. Even if the quarrel is with you, there may be something completely different causing it. That’s why it’s important to step back and examine the situation before reacting. If it doesn’t make sense at face value, look for the underlying cause. Some patience and understanding may be all you need to diffuse the argument and get things back to normal. Hopefully the fight will be forgotten as quickly as it started.

I'm a purexinsiders and I was chosen to review the Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal. I'm not a cereal person not because I don't like cereal lets say milk don't like me. LOL! So I decided to use my daughter for this review and she was so delighted to try it , you know kids they love cereal !! This is her first time trying this cereal. Looks like everywhere you turn you here parents talk about their children on the internet. Rather it's for school or them just surfing and chatting with there friends. But do we really know who they are talking too? We know that little Johnny comes over to visit and Mary comes over to do homework but what are they like on the internet.

It's so easy for our children to fall into peer pressure. The internet is not as safe as you expect it to be you may think your children are interacting with there friends but lord and behold some are interacting with adults as well as children who help to influence your child's behavior.

With the new parent on-line site called uKnowKids parents can monitor their children while they are on- line, all social sites, facebook, myspace and twitter. uKnowKids can search sites they us parents may not even know about. This site can even monitor your childrens cell phones. I like how you can see every private or public photo that your children adds to any of these social sites.
