Yes, it has arrived! I’m talking about the new Dyson 360 Eye robot vacuum is here and I am so excited. Vacuuming is my least favorite house chore and with my back injury I don’t even touch a vacuum anymore. But since the Dyson 360 Eye robot vacuum has arrived I’m excited to see just how it will navigate throughout my home.

Now for many years Dyson has been conducting research in their development of their robot vacuum cleaners and I think they finally hit the nail on the hammer with their new Dyson 360 Eye. It’s actually very powerful, navigate like a true boss around your home, can clean on any surface, and easy enough for anyone to use.

Here’s what Dyson has created within this Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum:

It has a Dyson digital motor V2: Small and light, yet extremely powerful, it generates more suction than any robot vacuum, a unique 360° vision system: Constantly interprets its surroundings, so it knows where it is, where it’s been, and where it’s yet to clean, radial root yyclone™ technology: The only robot vacuum with patented Dyson cyclone technology. Captures microscopic dust and fine dirt.

It also has a full-width brushbar: this means the brushbar extends the full width of the machine for maximum surface coverage. The Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum is the only robot vacuum with carbon fiber filaments for hard floors and stiff nylon bristles for carpets. It also has a Dyson Link app: this app allows you to control, schedule, and troubleshoot your robot, as well as view maps and stats of where it has cleaned. There’s a few more awesome features you should know about like the continuous tank tracks: Tank tracks that maintain speed and keep the robot on course as it moves across different floor types, you have the bin capacity: which holds up to 0.66 pounds of dust and dirt. Lastly the Dyson 960 Eye weigh: 5.3 pounds, and run and charge time: The machine will run for up to 40 minutes. When the battery is low, it will self-dock, charge, and resume cleaning where it left off.

Now I’ve been a Dyson fan for many years and even though the Dyson 360 Eye has a steeper of a price point, I’m still interested to see just how this robot vacuum works.

The Dyson 360 Eye is one cool unit indeed, and you know it’s even easier to charge. I found that it is best to make sure the Dyson 360 Eye is fully charged, this way you can get the full effects of the powerful suction within this robot.  Simply place the charging dock in any area, after the unit is ready and has ended its vacuuming chores, the Dyson 360 will return right back to the dock until next use. Now let me say, that is very impressive and I still can’t believe all the smart technology within this unit!

I found reading the instructions to be very simple and clear, clear enough for anyone to understand. It took no time to set my Dyson 360 Eye up, before long it was charged and ready to go.  Before long it will be moving so effortless throughout your home and trust me when I say this awesome robot can detect and avoid obstacles and drops. Plus with the Dyson 360 Eye advanced filtration, it’ll can capture allergens and expels cleaner air than the air you breathe. So the unit provides more than just cleaning your carpet it helps to provide clean air too for you and your family!

With a 360-degree camera that views the room at a 45 degree angle and takes 30 pictures per second you better believe it will pick up any debris. One thing I noticed when mine was ready to start is how it positioned itself within the center of the room and starts spiraling outward…..that was weird but yet awesome to see. Once it completed every area of the room, it smoothly moved right over to the charging dock.

I also noticed that due to the size of the Dyson360 Eye it will not be able to fit under certain furniture, like my couch. Other than that it made its way throughout my house even in my kitchen. Now that’s a big plus for me, having the ability to clean on both carpet and hardwood surfaces. Make sure to take note of these features too, the Dyson 360 Eye can climb over door frames and over ledges like the ones that separate your kitchen from your living rooms and bedrooms. This can be done all because the Dyson 360 Eye Tank tracks for bumpy terrain. The Dyson 360 Eye is the only robot with tank tracks. You may be asking how this tank tracks help. Well the tank tracks help maintain speed and direction as it moves across different surfaces. Awesome right!

Another feature that caught my eye on the Dyson 360 Eye is the way the brush bar is extended from edge to edge on the Dyson Eye 360. With a brush that wide it’s sure to collect all that debris and dust that many vacuums miss in those cracked and crevices areas.

As I set back and watched the Dyson 360 Eye navigate efficiently, within minutes certain areas of my carpet look really clean. I’ll go on record again to say it has some very impressive technology within this unit. Another awesome factor to the Dyson 360 Eye robot is how the sensor that is built inside can detect obstacles and drops. This way if something is in the way of the vacuum it will know to avoid those areas…now that’s some pretty smart technology wouldn’t you say too!

You better believe the Dyson 360 Eye isn’t blind by no means, it can map out your area in every direction simultaneously. Once it has vacuumed 10 square feet, the Dyson 360 Eye will then redirect to clean a new area of your rug. If you have pets don’t worry about them either, because with the infrared sensors it will keep the Eye aware of pets and table legs. Now know this Dyson 360 Eye will still bump into things but again it is equipped with a sensor to know that certain obstacles are in the way, and believe me when I say it definitely knows where it’s going without a doubt!

Let me say I love my Dyson 360 Eye and all its wonderful features but what makes this unit even more unique is the Dyson App. Having the ability to download the Dyson 360 Eye software via my phone is pretty exciting!

robot_features_link_app_powermode_en

Whenever I’m ready to clean my carpet again, I can now schedule my Dyson 360 eye to clean my carpet.  That’s because the Dyson Link app allows you to register, control and schedule your robot. It can also automatically download updates for your robot’s software too.

With the Dyson 360 Eye having available to you two modes, you can controlled your Dyson via Link app, your robot will offer you two suction power modes designed for different tasks – MAX mode for deep cleans, or Quiet mode for light cleaning that’s up to 35% quieter. To access cleaning mode settings via the Dyson Link app, you need app version 2.2 or later, and your robot must be running software version 11.1.1 or later. Keep in mind that your Dyson 360 Eye can connect to your WiFi too!

All I can say is Dyson may have took years to build such an impressive robot vacuum and now that it’s here, I can only offer them my up most respect. For the Dyson 360 Eye is beyond fascinating, it’s well designed, packs a lot of powerful suction power, has an 360 eye function that can map out any room, and most of all can find its way back to docking station for recharging.

I can go on and on about this unit it’s just that great. Again many may say that the price is steep, which it is. But when you see all the latest technology that is in this unit that makes it work to your standards and others, I’m sure the price would be your least concern. The Dyson 360 Eye gave my carpet the deep cleaning it needed especially with me having children around!

Here’s a little more about the Dyson 360 Eye:

Patents: There are over 420 patents and patent applications worldwide relating to technology used in the Dyson 360 Eye.

Balance and navigation: Dyson engineers designed a series of radio controlled rigs that allowed them to test for balance and navigational effectiveness over obstacles. The machine was driven on different floor types at various speeds. Lighting was dimmed and made brighter. All variables were accounted for.

Power: Inside the body of the Dyson 360 Eye™ robot is the Dyson digital motor V2. It can spin up to 78,000rpm, this energy efficient motor generates twice the suction of any robot vacuum. Dyson’s robot uses Radial Root Cyclone™ technology to effectively separate dust and dirt, capturing dirt smaller than the width of a human hair.

Eyesight: Using a 360° vision system. The camera takes up to 30 frames per second then builds a detailed floor plan to intelligently navigate around a room and track its position

Last we have the Intelligence: Using the Dyson App will provide owners access to start, pause and stop their robot, view maps and statistics of cleaning sessions, and schedule single or daily cleans. The instructions are simple and very easy to read for any troubleshooting.
