The BMW 8 Series: A Luxury Bullet.

BMW has been a go-to manufacturer for a lot of people for some time. It’s often said, that, once you start driving one of their cars; you’ll never be able to go back to something else. And, for the best example of a BMW, look no further than the new 8 Series. To start, let’s take a look at the outside of the car. The 8 Series has been designed with its predecessors in mind. At the front, you find a sharp, shark-like nose. From there, moving over the bonnet, you find a smooth, sweeping line which makes for the roof and back of the car. The very rear is thick and chunky; making the whole car look much beefier. On either side, you have large openings to let air flow around the car on the best possible route. Some will say this car looks a little boring; but, when you look past the lack of detail, you see a vehicle designed to cut through the air. But, despite its sleek exterior; this car isn’t designed for the track alone. Instead, it’s designed to provide you with a car that creates a balance between high-speed racer and comfortable luxury. And, this can be seen as you look beneath the hood.

Unsurprisingly, BMW will be offering the new 8 Series with a range of different engines. But, the flagship is likely to be a monster. If the past is anything to go by, it wouldn’t be foolish to expect a 601 bhp engine within this car. This could see the 8 Series hitting 60 in less than six and a half seconds. But, along with this, the car also has complex driving assistance, like parking sensors and automatic braking. Alongside this, it is filled with gadgets; with the BMW entertainment system sitting at its heart. In most cases, you will find a touchscreen within your 8 Series. And, this is just scratching the surface of what lies within.

If you’re already feeling sold on the 8 Series; you might want to hold your horses. Unfortunately, this car isn’t out until 2018. So, there’s going to be a bit of a wait before you can get on the road. Along with this, this BMW doesn’t come with a wallet-friendly price tag. It is expected to have a starting price of around $80,000 (US) or £90,000 (UK). This will burn a big hole in most people’s pockets. And, so, to get your hands on this beautiful machine; you may have to look at some calculator car loan amortization websites. This will give you the chance to pay for the car over a few years; making easier to get your hands on it on release.

This should give you a good idea of the power underneath the 8 Series’ bonnet. If you need more information about the car, it’s easy to come by. This motor has caused quite a stir in the market; so, there are loads of resources to help you.
