The holiday season is upon us. No more stalling with the argument that it is only October. Or my favorite, using the copout that we should probably celebrate Thanksgiving before thinking about holidays in December! (Kidding) 😉 They are here ladies and gentlemen. Between family outings, gathering with friends, and sipping eggnog, many of us are still trying to find time to work in shopping for gifts for our loved ones and friends. Hmmm, I did not even factor in time for work; yeah, the job, I forgot about that one! I don’t know about you but I certainly need more than 24 hours in the day in December; actually, I could always use more than 24 hours in the day but let’s not get into that.

My family still participates in a gift exchange so everyone has been asking me what I want for Christmas this year, I shrug. My little sister decided that she was a super genius and upgraded to asking me what I need and the real answer is … nothing. I have everything that I need; I assume many others do as well. So there you are; you want to buy a present for someone that has no idea what they want and keeps telling you that they don’t need anything. What do you do?

The answer is simple; get them something that they will enjoy in the here and now! I’m not talking about something that will create additional clutter or even running out at the last minute to grab a gift card; seriously, they are REALLY impersonal and lack thought. For me, during the holidays, it is all about sweet treats. And when I say sweet treats, I mean … CHOCOLATE!

Vermont Nut Free Chocolates offers a variety of products to fit every pallet! From gummy candy, to trail mix, granola bars, and of course, chocolate, they have it all! I should probably mention that their chocolates are 100% nut free which is perfect considering the number of people that I know that suffer from peanut allergies. Let’s be honest, who wants to ruin a surprise by having to call around and ask your friends a list of random questions just to find out if they have a peanut allergy. Wait, you do that right? If you have one specific question you need answered around the holidays, you ask nine other irrelevant questions just to throw them off the scent. Yeah, I knew everyone did that! Vermont Nut Free Chocolates also offers books, baking products, their very own logowear, and of course, gift certificates to their store.

After trying their milk, dark, and crispy chocolates, I am going straight for the Holiday Gift Boxes! Starting at just $43, the Gift Boxes offers a variety of delicious, yummy goodness that are perfect for the difficult to buy for person on your list, family gatherings, potlucks, or even a quiet evening at home. We can return to healthier eating habits in the New Year, well … I’ll try, but in the meantime, I vote we take advantage of the holiday season and the sweet treats that it has to offer. A little too much? How about this, it doesn’t hurt to indulge every once in a while to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!

Would you like to knockout all of your holiday shopping, in one fowl swoop, and all from the comfort of your home? Check out Vermont Nut Free Chocolates and all that they have to offer!
