Follow my blog if you wish.....I welcome everyone!

The 2 winners will be randomly drawn Friday,Jan 15,2010 That's it!

We Have Our (2) Winners per Random Org. Congrats to #3 Sharon Charles and #6 Rachel McGuire. Thanks to all who participated there will be more giveaways to come.

Below you will find some information on the creator of FashionPlaytes

As a young girl I designed most of my clothing and was fortunate to have a very talented mother who could sew. She indulged me and made wonderful custom outfits for my first days of school, dances and special events. On occasion, we’d stay up almost all night selecting embellishments and making the outfit “just right”. I recall the pride and satisfaction of creating something that was exclusively mine. I now have a 7 year old daughter who is designing clothing and asking me to make it for her. Fortunately, Grammy Rose is happy to take on most of these projects (along with a sword cover or two from my son, but that’s for our next project…).

Night time bedwetting, it get's better with time.

As a parent who has potty-trained a child many of us know that night time bed-wetting is sometimes the last hurdle to clear before you can claim victory over diapers. Many children don't attain night-time control for several years after they have complete control during the day. Nocturnal enuresis, more commonly known as bed-wetting, occurs when a sleeping child cannot control his or her urinating at night. Night time wetting is not considered abnormal until it has reached an age 5 and over. Sometimes the situation resolves on its own.

There are millions of children as of today that still suffer from Nocturnal Enuresis(bed-wetting) as we speak it seems to be raising everyday...remember children are born every second of a minute everyday. If your child is five years old and still wetting the bed at night he is not alone. Enuresis occurs in 15 to 20 percent of all 5-year-old children, 10 percent in 7-year-olds.

Therefore, an estimated five to six million children are affected by bed-wetting at the age of 5. many adolescents(age 15) still wet at night as well. At least twenty percent of children with this problem have some element of daytime wetting.

Always keep in mind that most cases sometimes can resolve spontaneously without specific treatment, sometimes medical attention might be needed also! Bed-wetting is not harmful to your child in any way other than its impact on self-esteem. If your child is embarrassed to attend camp or a sleepover, you may want to talk with your pediatric urologist about therapies that include behavior modification (i.e. restriction of fluids after 6 pm), conditioning therapy (enuretic alarm)can be helpful as well.

The most important thing as a parent we can do is assist our children.... be PATIENT! You see, once you explain to your child what is occurring and support them with lots of Love and support...I believe it would be much easier for the child to overcome bed-wetting!

Back to School!

It's been a wonderful Holiday for me and my kids but "It's Back to School". A new year and a new beginning! I know it will be hard getting them back in the swing of things since they have been off for sometime but as parents we must help them by allowing them to get the proper rest that there bodies are required to have.

I know many of us have been in a lazy mood since we have been off. We enjoying sleeping in and staying up late , getting away with not cleaning our house or kids room...lol lol playing games and having so much fun, but The Holidays are over!

It's Back To School !

The best way to help your child get back into the everyday routine for school is to gradually do it....

send them to bed a little earlier then the regular bed schedule time....
limit TV when they come home.......
allow them at least a hour of rest before they start homework....
be patient with them the first week or so.....
this will help to keep them from getting frustrated about doing school work so fast.

Remember they have been off for a while and it will take sometime to get them back on track...let's do it the right way!
